We will discuss some strategic approaches to developing your employee handbook as well as some real-world examples of how having one can protect your business.

About the Presenter:  Katherine Piasente is a human resources consultant at Holden Law Group and she consults employers in a broad range of employment matters.  She is certified through the Human Resources Certification Institute as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and has also obtained her Society for Human Resource Management-Certified Professional designation (SHRM-CP), and has over 8 years of experience in the HR field. Her wide range of experience includes performance management, policy design, training and development, employee relations, wellness program development, payroll, and benefits administration, safety and compliance management, workers compensation and leave administration and more.
